NNA - Iran does not ask anyone's permission to defend national security. This is what the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic declared, Nasser Kanaani, in response to the joint statement by France, Germany and the United Kingdom in which they urged “Iran and its allies to take all necessary measures to prevent any further escalation in the Middle East”.

Tehran is determined to defend its sovereignty and restore stability to the region, the official said. “The indifference of Western countries supporting the Israeli regime and its international crimes, including genocide (…) continues and the impunity of the Zionist authorities has increased their insolence in committing the most heinous crimes,” responded Kanaani, who also accused the three signatories of the declaration of having taken "no measures to stop" Tel Aviv. The text of the three countries makes "no objection to the crimes of the Zionist regime", while "impudently requests the Islamic Republic of Iran not to act (to restore deterrence) against the regime that violates its sovereignty and territorial integrity", it said the spokesperson continued, adding that "such requests lack political logic and are completely contrary to the principles and rules of international law".--agencies
